MARIST BROTHERS LINMEYER

A MARIST BROTHERS LINMEYER PRE-SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

Girls and boys between the ages of 4 and 6 years learn and play within a happy, caring and supportive environment.

Our little ones are guided by our Marist Characteristics, namely, Family Spirit, Love of Work, In the Way of Mary, Presence and Simplicity.

Our  beliefs are all based on a Catholic ethos while our teaching principles remain firmly rooted in the Marist traditions. We warmly welcome students of all faiths and denominations.

Within the four pillars: Academics, Religion, Sport and Culture, we offer an exciting broad-based educational programme.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRESCHOOLER

Find out what happens during a typical day of a Marist Brothers Linmeyer Preschooler!

It is our hope that each girl and boy uses their curiosity and creativity to express views and feelings with confidence. Our focus will always be to create and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The staff are amazing, very friendly and wonderful with the children.  I am so proud of what we as a Pre-School achieve every single year.

Mrs Gunther

“Marist Brothers Linmeyer Pre-School truly encompasses Catholic family values helping children fulfill their divine potential. They are also prepare them for life by giving the children tools they need to keep on learning throughout the many experiences that will come to them. This School enables students to recognise religion as an important expression of human experience. The School works together with students and parents to ensure well-rounded, spiritually enriched children. My children have been blessed to be a part of such a dynamic school and they have benefitted tremendously from the spiritual knowledge they have gained.”

SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

Our Pre-School students are continually encouraged to follow Jesus in the Way of Mary.

Prayer and praise is also encouraged through song.

Bible stories are read and shared. Moral lessons from these stories are discussed, encouraging students to be respectful, loving and caring towards one another.

Students are exposed to Catholic religious celebrations as well as those of other religions, so as to encourage acceptance of others.

OUTREACH

Marist Brothers Linmeyer places a marked emphasis on social responsibility.

We believe that it should be every student’s goal to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Collections

Through giving, our students become mindful of other people’s circumstances and start to develop a willing nature – eager to assist where they can.

Each grade across the Primary School selects an Outreach Project for the year. The Pre-School students collect goodies to make up hampers. These are given to each Pre-School Support Staff member as a way of acknowledging them for all that they do.

Our School is also supportive of seasonal and Mini Council requests as well as community needs. We are always thankful to our Marist families who give so willingly and so generously.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

These paid extras take place at the end of each School day

Sport teaches students to work as a team, improves social skills and boosts self-confidence. It also reduces stress, enhances mood and builds healthy bodies and minds.

Please Note

Pamphlets are available from the Pre-School Reception.
