MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should:
- hold a diploma in Marketing/Public Relations or any related discipline
- have three years of post-qualification experience in a similar position
- have event and social media management experience
Note that being a past Marist Brothers Linmeyer student will be considered an added advantage
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Suitable candidates should:
- possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- be highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- be competent in using social media, mass mail and other online marketing tools and fundraising apps
- have experience and a passion for managing social media platforms
- have excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills that enhance relationships with internal stakeholders, media and other external stakeholders
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be required to:
- develop and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy aligned with MBL’s mission and values
- create, maintain and update the alumni and stakeholder database
- create engaging content for stakeholder-focused communications
- plan and execute alumni/stakeholder events
- initiate, coordinate and execute communication, marketing, public relations and fundraising events/activities/programmes/projects
- identify and cultivate potential alumni/stakeholder donors and volunteers
- be a representative of the Parent Association (PA) and work closely with the PA Chairperson through liaison with the school Executive
