Careers Day 5 March 2025
On Wednesday, 5 March, we will be hosting a Careers Day. No costs are involved and anyone considering future career choices is most welcome to attend.
The world of adulthood and responsibility is looming large and soon students will have to start mapping their own paths through life. Some are fairly confident about the path they want to follow; other students have no idea. It is important for students to start deepening their understanding of themselves, their knowledge and skills and what steps they will need to take in order to become successful. We believe once they have mastered this, more informed decisions can lead to a prosperous future.
Our Careers Day exhibition will take place in L‘Hermitage Hall from 13h30 until 16h00. We will showcase various ‘pathways’ available for students to follow after school, these will include universities, apprenticeships, the ‘world of work’ and life experience. Over sixty educational institutions will be waiting to connect with you, to share valuable information and answer your questions.
We will also have top universities and colleges as guest speakers present in the Primary School Hall and in the Marian Resource Centre (MRC). They will chat through enrolment and application processes, university life and offer helpful advice. Please get there early to book your seat!
