Home 5 Careers Day
On Wednesday, 13 March, Marist Brothers Linmeyer will be hosting a Careers Day ‘with a difference’. The world of adulthood and responsibility is looming large and soon students will have to start mapping their own paths through life. Some are fairly confident about the path they want to follow; other students have no idea. It is important for students to start deepening their understanding of themselves, their knowledge and skills, and what steps they will need to take in order to become successful. We believe once they have mastered this, better informed decisions can lead to a prosperous future.

Our Careers Day exhibition will take place in the L’Hermitage Hall from 13h30 until 16h00. We will showcase various ‘pathways’ available for students to follow after school, these will include universities, apprenticeships, ‘world of work’ and life experience. Over sixty educational institutions will be waiting to connect with you, on hand to share valuable information and eager to answer your questions.

We will also have top universities guest speakers present in the Marian Resource Centre, from 13h30 until 16h00, to chat through enrolment and application processes and university life. Get there early to book your seat!
