Mr Norton’s hobbies include growing Bonsais, Knife-making, Leatherwork, Keeping fit, Painting, Cooking, Gardening and Motorcycling. Mr Norton’s favourite Chinese proverb is, “Keep your words soft and sweet because you never know from day-to-day which ones you’ll have to eat.” He believes in treading gently on the Earth and is inspired by young people, passionate teachers and people with courage. Interesting facts that not many people may know about Mr Norton are that he has run 7 Comrades Marathons, he has completed the Iron Man Triathlon, he has worked with SAIMR Animal Ethics Committee, has performed the role of a Field Guide. Mr Norton was Head Boy at school and he also has a love for snakes and other wildlife.
